An extended VIKOR method using stochastic data and subjective judgments

چکیده
Decision makers (DMs) face different levels of uncertainty throughout the decision making process. In particular, natural language is generally subjective or ambiguous when used to express perceptions and judgments. The aim of this paper is to extend the VIKOR method and develop a methodology for solving multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problems with stochastic data. The weights of the stochastic decision criteria considered in our extended VIKOR model have been determined using the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method. We present a case study in the banking industry to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method. We also compare our results with the results obtained from a stochastic version of the super-efficiency data envelopment analysis (DEA) model to exhibit the efficacy of the procedures and algorithms. 2016 Elsevier Ltd. متن کاملGroup multi-criteria supplier selection using an extended VIKOR method with interval 2-tuple linguistic information
How to select the suitable suppliers in the supply chain is critical for an organization’s success and has attracted much attention of both researchers and practitioners. Supplier selection can be regarded as a complex group multiple criteria decision making problem requiring consideration of a number of alternative suppliers and quantitative and qualitative criteria. Additionally, decision mak...
متن کاملAn Extended VIKOR Method Using Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets and Combination Weights for Supplier Selection
Supplier selection is a complex multiple criteria decision-making (MCDM) problem, which considers a number of alternative suppliers as well as conflicting and noncommensurable criteria. Considering the fact that it is difficult to precisely determine criteria weights and the ratings of alternatives on each criterion in real-life situations, the VIKOR (VIsekriterijumska optimizacija i KOmpromisn...
متن کاملA fuzzy VIKOR approach for plant location selection
Plant location selection is a multi-criteria decision problem and has a strategic importance for many companies. The aim of this study is to propose a fuzzy approach for Plant location selection. This paper is based on a fuzzy VIKOR (Serbian: Vlsekriterijumsko Kompromisno Rangiranje) method. In this method, the ratings of various alternatives versus various subjective criteria and the weights o...
متن کاملOptimal Siting of Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles Based on Fuzzy Delphi and Hybrid Multi-Criteria Decision Making Approaches from an Extended Sustainability Perspective
Abstract: Optimal siting of electric vehicle charging stations (EVCSs) is crucial to the sustainable development of electric vehicle systems. Considering the defects of previous heuristic optimization models in tackling subjective factors, this paper employs a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) framework to address the issue of EVCS siting. The initial criteria for optimal EVCS siting are se...
